ECC PTA Fundraisers

The ECC PTA proudly offers more than 25 enrichment programs to our children every year. The variety and caliber of these programs allows our children to benefit from one of the highest ranked education systems in the nation. However, none of that would be possible without the generosity of our families. In order to maintain our current enrichment programs,  it costs approximately $125 per student. We need your help to keep our programs and our children succeeding. Please note that in response our survey, the ECC PTA is committed to only offering five core fundraisers that we believe to be the most valuable, efficient and profitable to ECC. Please consider participating in one or more to keep our children succeeding:

BOOK FAIR ¨ ECC hosts two Scholastic book fairs to promote life-long reading habits and raise funds to stock our media center shelves. The book fair is available before and after school for one week in September (Sept 20-23) and for two days in May (May 24^th & 25^th). Volunteers assist students and parents with book selections for all reading levels.  Proceeds directly benefit our Media Center.

JOG-A-THON¨ Every spring, ECC hosts a school wide, sponsored run to promote physical fitness and raise money for Playground Partners. Parent volunteers and family members are encouraged to come cheer on their favorite runner and assist with various duties. Jog-A-Thon is March 15. All proceeds fund our Playground Partners program.

SPRING ART SALE ¨ Students showcase their artistic talents to parents at Open House Night. Student masterpieces are framed and displayed for sale. All proceeds go toward funding ECC’s art programs and supplies, as well as any other general program needs.

RESTAURANT NIGHTS ¨ Families can enjoy a night off from cooking and help ECC at the same time. Throughout the year, various restaurants offer a percentage of their proceeds to ECC when participating families present a flyer. All proceeds go toward funding general program needs.

The PTA touches each student at El Camino Creek through its broad offering of enrichment programs. Those many and varied programs include:

• Variety Show

PTA funds are used by teachers to meet needs in the classroom for materials and supplies. Fundraisers also underwrite school communications, including the weekly ENews email newsletter. In addition, families are offered support through parent education programs.
