Did the time change throw you off? I think we all felt a bit disheveled yesterday. I could see it in the weary faces of our kiddos as they straggled in at 8:00! Thanks for making the effort to get everyone delivered on time. This week, our staff is preparing for conferences and assessing students, in order to have current data to share with you. Please contact your teacher to schedule your conference if you have not already done so.
By now, you should have received a district created letter with state testing information. We will test in grades 3-6, in math, language arts and science for 5th grade only. We will test by grade level, starting with 3rd grade the week of April 27th. Week of May 4th for 4th grade, week of May 11 for 5th, and week of May 18th for 6th grade. If your child needs to miss a day during their testing window, we will offer make-ups during the week of May 26th. Testing will occur each day, M-F, between 8:00 and 10:00 am. Please note that parent volunteers will not be able to be on campus during these hours during testing weeks. Ask your teachers for specifics.
Looking forward to seeing you at the Jog-A-Thon on March 19th,
