As we head into our last ten weeks of the school year, so much is happening on campus. Today, I held a town hall style meeting to address safety concerns. If you were unable to attend, I will schedule another date in September after the new school year has started. The closing of the kindergarten gate has been helpful in monitoring campus security and each staff member now carries a radio at all times so we have constant and immediate communication if need be.
State testing is coming and all 3rd-6th graders will be participating. The testing window is broad and we will have our students test by grade level, staring with 3rd grade on April 27. A reminder that parent volunteers will not be allowed on campus between 8:00-10:00 during testing days. Please ask your own teacher for specifics on this.
I hope that you take time to read our entire eNews each week. So much goes on here and it is all significant. The Carnival is on May 15 and it is a critical fundraiser for our school. Please read the updates and plan on joining me. It is always a delightful time to participate!
