What is the EEF at ECC Fund?
El Camino Creek has continued to flourish as a distinguished school, providing an exceptional education to our kids. ECC has offered great enrichment programs over the years such as Music, Science, and Physical Education. Site Enrichment Teachers (SET) teach these classes during a time period known as “the wheel”, because students rotate through the classes during a set-aside time frame. We also have Site Enrichment/Intervention Teachers to support the students who need extra help as well as provide challenging enrichment in Math and Reading. Their employment is determined each year by the fundraising activities of the ECC Fund, which is a part of the Encinitas Educational Foundation that operates at our school site. It is also important to note that the Yoga teacher is not a Site Enrichment Teacher, but a District Enrichment Teacher and the salary for this position is not paid for by your donations. The Yoga Program is 100% paid for and directed by EUSD.
