Get ready for an unforgettable night of exploration and discovery at our ECC Science Night Program! Each month, one grade level will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on experiments, demonstrations, and interactive activities designed to spark curiosity and inspire a love of science in your child.

-For our youngest scientists, kindergarten students will use their senses to explore the world around them in a fun and engaging way. They'll experiment with different materials, textures, and create their own "goofy goo" to play with.

-First-graders will investigate the different states of matter through hands-on activities that bring the concepts of solids, liquids, and gases to life. Your child will love learning about the properties and behaviors of matter in this interactive experience.

-Second-graders will be electrified as they explore the amazing world of electricity and magnetism. They'll experiment with simple circuits, explore magnetic fields, and discover how these fundamental forces work together.

-Third-graders will get hands-on with engineering and physics as they explore balance and stability. They'll build their own structures using a variety of materials and test them to see how well they hold up to different forces.

-Fourth-graders will dive into the fascinating world of geology as they learn about rocks and minerals. They'll discover the different types of rocks and minerals, how they are formed, and the unique properties that make them special.

-Fifth-graders will embark on an exciting journey through our solar system. They'll learn about the planets, their characteristics, and how they interact with each other through hands-on activities and demonstrations.

-Finally, our sixth-grade scientists will explore the properties of carbon dioxide and the effects of acidity. Using dry ice, they'll learn how carbon dioxide behaves under different conditions and explore the impact of acidity on everyday materials.

Don't miss out on this amazing opportunity to share the wonders of science with your child. Our ECC Science Night Program is open to all ECC students and their families, and we can't wait to see you there!
